A Day Worth Celebrating!

 High School Day at Ilocos Sur National High School started with a parade around Vigan. Students marched with energy, showing school pride under the sun. After arriving back on campus, we took short breaks to rest and get ready. The program kicked off with Grade 7 boys as the first performers, then went on through Grade 11 with dances and cheers.

As a Grade 10 student, I could not join the field demonstration. My trainings for the Regional Festival of Talents ran from morning till afternoon every day. That meant no time for field practices, so I was exempted from dancing. I felt disappointed deep down—I wanted to dance so bad and wear those wonderful costumes with my classmates. Still, watching our fellows shine on stage was fun. Their moves, bright outfits, and big smiles lit up the field.

The battle of the bands added real excitement. Groups played loud and lively tunes, competing with heart. Cheers filled the air as favorites battled it out. Even without dancing myself, the day built school spirit and joy. Events like this connect us all at ISNHS, from parades to music, making memories that last.
