My Jolliday

Christmas always feels magical, and this year was no exception. It kicked off with a lively school celebration on the 19th, filled with laughter, carols, and festive cheer. Then, on the 25th at midnight, my family and cousins gathered at home for the real heart of the season—games, endless fun, and that electric anticipation of unwrapping presents. I scored a handy stash of money, but the true highlight was getting exactly what I'd wished for, a sleek headset and a mechanical keyboard. Those gifts weren't just stuff; they were little miracles that made the night sparkle.

Then it went over into our barangay's party, where the place came alive with warmth and generosity. We
honored our senior citizens by handing out rewards and watching them dive into hilarious games—pure joy in every cheer. I even got roped into representing the west side of our baranggay with a dance, twirling under the lights and feeling that unbeatable sense of belonging. It was a beautiful reminder of how Christmas weaves us all together, turning neighbors into family.

The very next day, adventure called with a trip to Laoag SM Mall. The place buzzed with holiday energy, its wide variety of shops tempting us at every turn of our heads. We went to

Uniqlo for some new clothes, I got new pants and a shirt that fit perfectly. I also picked up a special souvenir for someone dear to me, and seeing her light up when she loved it brightens my day.

Of course, no story is complete without its twists. My holiday wrapped up on a bittersweet note with some
tough issues and pain, but having people that stood by me through it all—their support, a steady light in the storm. I'm endlessly grateful for her and for a Christmas brimming with love, laughter, and those small, perfect moments that make the season unforgettable.
