     September is the National Clean-Up Month in the Philippines. This a reminder to us people of our responsibility in keeping in our environment clean. Many people suffer from the different effects of problems caused by improper disposal of waste, pollution, lack of discipline and lack of attention and care to our nature. If not addressed then the people's health, safety, and future will soon perish out of our hand.

Voluntary clean-up drive

I volunteered to engage in a clean-up drive to clear out waste at the highway. Doing this activity can help reduce pollution in our community and it teaches us the importance of  having a healthy and clean community, one that welcomes any visitors.

Conserving of natural resources 

Conserving our natural resources can help us reduce financial requirements and also to promote this topic so that we can conserve and protect nature to still reach future generations

Sorting out wastes

Sorting out waste can help us identify which waste are Reused, Reduced, Recycled, Biodegradable or Non-Biodegradable waste

Tree planting

Tree planting can help reduce air pollution and reduce carbon dioxide-a contributes to the green house effect, in our atmosphere.
